Bonjour, ça va? My name is Lydie. I’m a trilingual Frenchwoman (FR/EN/DE) and I’ve been teaching my native language, French as a foreign language, for over 30 years. I offer lessons to businesses and individuals, both online and in person.

About me
I am French, and I began teaching French at the age of 23 in order to finance my studies in international business. Then, I discovered that it was truly my calling, my passion, to share my French language and culture with learners from all backgrounds. My clients come from all walks of life: whether they are individuals preparing for holidays, or professionals who need French as a foreign language for their work, to communicate with their clients.

I love my job as a teacher, whether I’m working with companies or private students. My students come from all levels, and their success and progress are truly the greatest source of satisfaction I could ask for.
But it’s not just about grammar, it’s also about French culture, and even Francophone culture in general, which I take great pleasure in teaching. In fact, this culture is highly appreciated because it reflects a certain way of life, one of appreciating the good and beautiful things and taking the time to fully appreciate their value.
There are also those who learned French in school but feel like they’ve forgotten everything. It’s wonderful to see their amazement when I help them refresh their knowledge while adding new insights.
What my clients want today is a complete, immersive, sensory experience, I offer them a virtual journey. It’s truly about sharing knowledge and helping you.
